All of us must have heard about chutney, but ever heard about a gluten free-WHEATGRASS CHUTNEY? Yes, you read it correctly. Wheatgrass Chutney which contains all the minerals known to (wo)man. Experts claim that wheatgrass contains over 100 different elements amongst which the most important is chlorophyll because of which it gets its color. Wheatgrass is rich in magnesium, calcium, Vitamin A-C-E and iron. It is considered to be natural liver cleanser and detoxifier. The building blocks of protein enzymes needed for digestion i.e., amino acids is mainly present in wheatgrass. It also helps in treating skin diseases, stimulating circulation, treating arthritis and improving immunity. In short it is a super-food which is available in forms like juice, pills, tablets and powder. So why not have wheatgrass in a fun way in our day to day lives? The best intake of it can be as a chutney.
Most of us have idli, dosa, sandwich, dhokla and paratha as either a snack or breakfast with which chutney is mandatory. Ordinary chutney is healthy but to make ourselves more healthy here’s a recipe of wheatgrass chutney!

Tip:- Crushed dry pomegranate seeds or dry mango powder can be used to add sourness instead of lemon juice. During the season, raw mango is a good substitute too.
